MmmBop!

When a new installment of the Kidz Bop Kids series hits the racks, RAPINJUSTICE features Kidz Bop Week Month, which periodically spotlights some noteworthy tracks off of the compilation.

Kidz Bop Kids - You're Beautiful (originally performed by James Blunt)
Kidz Bop Kids - SOS (originally performed by Rihanna)
Kidz Bop Kids - L-O-V-E (originally performed by Ashlee Simpson)

Welp, this 10th edition of Kidz Bop was sort of weak from a comedy perspective. There was the drug-inspired love ballad by James Blunt, an awkward interpolation of the Black Eyed Peas and an awesomely performed Fort Minor song. But that's about it.

Here we got a Rihanna - SOS, and Ashlee Simpson's L-O-V-E. When Kidz Bop 8 came out, I was amazed at their rendition of "Since You've Been Gone," and noted many times that it could have probably been an actual radio single. "SOS" is this time arounds "Since You've Been Gone," but a lot worse. We also got Ashlee Simpson on here because she's Ashlee Simpson, and Kidz Bop just sounds so appropriate for her music. Congratulations on the new nose. And word to Jay-Z's booty call. Nice.

Til next time, this has been Kidz Bop Kids Month.
